Hakfar Hayarok Experimental School for Environmental Leadership in Israel had initiated the first International Environmental Leadership Seminar. The Camp was held in 2009 under the hospice of the Tel Aviv University, the Unit of Science Oriented Youth, on the topic: Kyoto 2010 convention-updates on the Global Warming challenges. The seminar was held in Hakfar Hayarok during the summer 2009 and will take place from now on every summer. Students from Germany, Netherlands, South Korea, Taiwan, Israel, Poland participated in 2009.
This summer 2010 second International Environmental Leadership Seminar is kept in Hakfar Hayarok and participants from Taiwan, Republic of Korea, Bulgaria, Finland, Germany and Israel are pondering renewable energy dilemma.
