Scope
Baseline intake of PCB form fish in Beneris describes the baseline (or background) exposure to polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) due to fish consumption in the Beneris population.
Definition
Baseline exposure to PCBs from fish can be represented as a random variable or as a constant. It is indexed by variable age. It applies to all age categories (this represents baseline exposure to PCBs from fish for children aged 0-2yr, 2-18yr and adults aged 18-55yr and over 55yr) and to indicators such as remaining lifetime risk of cancer in adults and risk of developmental dental defects.
