Adding pages to your watchlist
In order to keep up with changes in the content of the Mediawiki, it may be found helpful to use the watch function. When you are logged in, you will see a tab at the top of every article labelled "watch". If you click on this tab, the page will be automatically added to your watchlist, which you can access by clicking on the "my watchlist" link at the top right of the page.
Using the watchlist
When you have added an article to your watchlist, you can click on the "my watchlist" link and see any changes that are made to each article as time progresses. The watchlist enables you to:
- view chronological changes to pages, including the user who made them (similar to the "history" tab)
- directly click on links to article histories or a page showing the differences between two versions of the same article
Automatically add pages to your watchlist
Should you want to automatically watch all the pages you create or edit, you can change this in "my preferences". You can also select to be informed by email each time another user makes edits to pages that you are watching.
