FINRISK subjects are randomly sampled adults from the population register in Eastern and Western Finland. The surveys are carried out every 5 years. Survey is focused on chronic disease risk factors.

For CLAIH, data collected in 1992, 1997 and 2002 will be used for the Helsinki/Vantaa and Turku/Liomaa areas. Home addresses and moving history data will also be needed for this cohort.
