<section begin=Glossary />

Trialogue is a process where individuals observe reality and communicate their observations and descriptions of reality to others. In this way they can develop a shared understanding of the reality (a shared belief system) based on own and communicated observations and reasoning. The name trialogue is an extension of dialogue where two individuals discuss. In trialogue, the topic (the description of reality) is understood as the third player, because it has such a critical role in the development of a shared belief system.
